Megan Burbank is a writer, reporter, and travel & outdoors/wellness/other stuff editor at The Seattle Times. She was previously arts editor & senior editor at the Portland Mercury, where she specialized in politics, culture, and feminism. Other past gigs include news reporting at the Seattle alt-weekly The Stranger, arts writing at the Daily Hampshire Gazette in Northampton, Massachusetts, and brief forays into political communications and academia.
Her work can be found at all of these places, as well as Teen Vogue, Dance Magazine, the Billfold, the Toast, the Rumpus, Bitch Media, various newspapers across the country, and in her own sporadic newsletter, The Killjoy Report.
